Dr Hill is a bibliophile who has always loved books and reading.
A published author since a young age, he enjoys sharing both his knowledge and the creative musings of his mind.
As a writer of prose, he is known for his artful turns of phrase and for his ability to create realistic dialog amongst his characters.
As a technical writer, he is consistently praised for making complex concepts easy-to-understand and for his attention to detail.
A very young not-yet-Dr Hill wrote a fictionalized short story based upon the Seveso chemical disaster, which was published at the encouragement of his middle-school English literature teacher.
While doing post-graduate research, Dr Hill was also writing short stories and novellas under several pseudonyms. At this same time, he was starting to work as a ghost writer for physicians and others.
As a young college professor, Dr Hill set out to create affordable lab books which would actually be used and from which students would actually learn. Archipelago Publishing was born.
Today, Archipelago Publishing™ is an independent publisher of science textbooks and learning aids.
We also publish novels for a small group of private authors and provide imprint services for self-publishers.
The Tragedy In West Covina
Archipelago Publishing™ was named after the Galápagos Archipelago – a small collection of islands in the Eastern Pacific – which are very important to Dr Hill as a biologist.
We are pleased to contribute a portion of our profits to the Galapagos Conservation Trust, an organization promoting both conservation of and education about this unique enrivonment and its native inhabitants.
